BALTIMORE, MD – The Maryland Zoo has announced a fun-packed schedule of events with something for everyone this Fall. Guests of all ages can experience animals, learn about conservation, or just have a great time in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Best of all, event proceeds support the Zoo’s animal care and wildlife conservation programs.
Major events for kids and adults include:
- NEW EVENT Wild Water Splash Days – Say goodbye to summer with a splash! This Labor Day weekend event is free with Zoo admission and features water slides, splash pads, and bounce houses for a cool time on a hot summer day.
- Breakfast with the Animals presented by Constellation (monthly) – This breakfast series lets guests dine near different Zoo animals and meet the keepers;
- NEW EVENT Murder mystery dinner on Friday the 13th of September – Step into a night of elegance, mystery, and suspense. This murder-mystery masquerade ball on Friday, the 13th. The event is called Fatal Fauna: A Dinner Party to Die For. It will be an unforgettable night where every mask hides a secret, and every guest could be the culprit;
- NEW ADDITIONAL DATES ADDED Zoo BOO! (October 4-6, 11-13, 25-27) – A month-long family-friendly Halloween celebration with safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, games, live entertainment, and animal visits;
- OktoBEARfest presented by CFG Bank(October 19 & 20) – The ultimate Oktoberfest celebration features unlimited sampling of 60+ seasonal brews plus beer, wine, seltzer, and cider sampling, live music, local vendors, and, of course, all-day admission to the Zoo;
- Fitness events – Enjoy a fun run at Zoo Zoom on October 26 or relax during Winter Solstice Yoga on December 21.
Daily events at Maryland Zoo include animal keeper chats, conservation activities, storytime and nature play, and education stations that help children explore the world around us.
