Celebrate the start of Pride Month at the Zoo! Featuring fun activities, vendors, and, of course, animals, join us in supporting our LGBTQ+ community both in our human and animal kingdoms. We’ll raise the Progress Pride flag in Schaefer Plaza and it will fly all month long.

Festivities are included with Zoo admission or membership.

  • Story time with Zoo educators focusing on inclusivity of LGBTQ+ themes
  • Information about our queer planet – discover how animals with same-sex pairings are helping their populations thrive

  • Limited edition Pride penguin artwork (online only, limited quantities)
