The Zoo’s mission is to engage people in the wonders of the living world through personal encounters with animals, fostering empathy and lifelong support for conservation of wildlife and wild places.
Before you visit, please note that…

The Zoo is an outdoor venue. Rain checks or refunds will not be issued.

Pets are not permitted on Zoo grounds. Please leave pets at home and not inside a vehicle.

Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted under proper supervision.

The following are not permitted on Zoo grounds: bicycles, scooters, balloons, skateboards, skates, hoverboards, Frisbees, squirt guns, balls, whistles, radios, drones, glass containers, tobacco or vaping products, and alcohol.
- Weapons of any kind are not permitted on Zoo grounds.
During your visit, please…

DO NOT feed the animals – they are on strict diets.

DO NOT smoke or use tobacco products. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the designated area outside of the Main Gate entrance.

Keep shoes and shirts on at all times.

Supervise children at all times.

Stay on marked pathways and respect all barriers.

Retrieve or return lost & found items in the Wild Things Gift Shop.

Understand that animals need rest and privacy, just like people. Animals may have access to off-exhibit areas during the day and may not always be visible.

Place trash and recyclable items in the proper receptacles.

Do not solicit without prior Zoo approval.

Be aware that we reserve the right to escort from Zoo grounds any individuals or groups acting in ways deemed harmful to our animals, staff, or campus, or detrimental to the enjoyment of the Zoo by other guests.
