ZOOmobile Programs for Adults

These 50-minute programs feature interactive activities and live animal presentations.

Audience: Adults
Maximum group size: 100 people
Program length: 50 minutes
Program topics: Fur, Feathers, and Scales, Inside The Maryland Zoo, Saving Species, and Natural Niches
Animal Ambassadors: 4-5 animals
School year price (9/4/18 – 6/14/19): $230 plus travel fee if applicable
Summer price (6/16/18 – 9/3/18): $250 plus travel fee if applicable

African Penguin Conservation Conversation

During this 30-minute program, Zoo educators will delve into the conservation concerns of African penguins and ways the Zoo and other organizations are working to protect them. A portion of your program fee includes a Penguin Partner Package and a donation to the Maryland Zoo’s Conservation Fund.

Program length: 30 minutes
Animal Ambassadors: 1 African penguin
Price: $300 for one program plus travel fee if applicable; $100 each additional program (same day, same site)

Panamanian Golden Frog Conservation Conversation

During this 30-minute program, Zoo educators will delve into the conservation concerns of Panamanian golden frogs and ways the Zoo and other organizations are working to protect them. A portion of your program fee will be donated to the Maryland Zoo’s Conservation Fund.

Program length: 30 minutes
Animal Ambassadors: Panamanian golden frogs
Price: $150 for one program plus travel fee if applicable; $100 each additional program (same day, same site)

Penguin Partner Package

Price: $150
Penguin Partners receive:

• A visit from one penguin Ambassador during your on site presentation
• A fun and educational penguin fact sheet and activity for your group
• A photo of the penguin Ambassador to commemorate your experience
• A copy of Zoogram, the Maryland Zoo’s magazine for members
• The satisfaction of knowing you support the Maryland Zoo’s conservation and education efforts

Raven Partner Package

Price: $100
Raven Partners receive:

• A visit from one of the live Baltimore Ravens mascots, Rise or Conquer, during your on site presentation
• A fun and educational raven fact sheet and activity for your group
• A photo of Rise and Conquer to commemorate your experience
• A copy of Zoogram, the Maryland Zoo’s magazine for members
• The satisfaction of knowing you support the Maryland Zoo’s conservation and education efforts
